The aim of the shared studies in basic education in the arts is to acquire the basic skills of the art form. The aim of the thematic studies in basic education in the arts is to deepen and broaden visual arts thinking and expression.

Instruction at Craft School Purje takes place in the visual arts classrooms of Pitkäkari School.
