Anna's Day has been celebrated in its current form in Raahe for over twenty years and takes place annually on 9 December.

The traditional celebration begins in the morning with drummers touring the town, and the festive atmosphere continues throughout the day with markets, concerts, exhibitions, and a variety of events held across the city.

The main venue is Tapahtumatalo Raahe, but visitors can also enjoy activities at Raahe's museums, the city library, Praati, Sofia Cinema, Keskuskoulu School, and Frieman House.

As evening falls, Pekkatori Square and the church hill are illuminated with candles and lanterns. Everyone is invited to help create the unique atmosphere by bringing their own light to become part of the celebration.
