Registration for the 2026–2027 course year begins on Monday, 17 August 2026 at 8:30. Course offerings can be browsed in the online service from Monday onwards.

Register online

Registration takes place in the Raahe Institute’s registration system at: uusi.opistopalvelut.fi/raahe. Registration opens on 17 August 2026 at 8:30 and is available 24/7 throughout the year.

If you have opened the registration system before it opens, please refresh the page when registration begins.

We recommend familiarising yourself with the course selection in advance. The study programme provides detailed course information and course numbers.

Have the following information ready

You will need the following information when registering:

• course name and number
• participant’s name
• personal identity code (including the final part)
• phone number
• address and municipality of residence
• email address (recommended)

If the course fee is paid by someone other than the participant, please provide the correct billing address. For participants under 18, the guardian’s details must be provided for billing.
The correct fee category must be selected during registration: employed, pensioner, or student/unemployed.

If you do not have a Finnish personal identity code, please contact our office. We will provide you with a customer number that allows you to register for courses.

Payment of course fees

The course fee can be paid during registration via online payment or Smartum online payment.
If payment is not made at the time of registration (for example, when registering by phone), a payment link will be sent by email. If the fee is not paid by the due date, a paper invoice will be sent by post via an external billing service.

Please note that for some courses online payment is not available, and invoicing will take place later.

Waiting lists and binding registration

If a course is full, you can register for a waiting list. Available places will be offered personally.

A confirmation of registration will be sent by email. If you are registering a child, please provide the guardian’s email address as the contact detail.
